I  was born in Redwood City and grew up in Atherton, California.  Spent 15 years at the Royal Academy of Dance in Menlo Park training in ballet and jazz.  Appeared in the San Francisco Ballet’s production of the Nutcracker.  At Palo Alto High School I was a member of the varsity swim team and also majored in drama.  Studied art at Foothill College in Los Altos and writing at Canada College in Redwood City.
